Prose, Poetry and Spontaneous/Impromptu Paradigm Rules

TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS ON THE SAME PAGE

Prose -5 min ... basically the NSDA Nationals Supplemental event... delivered with a manuscript in-hand (i.e. black book) ...may not do a selection you are also performing in another event. BUT YOU MAY USE MATERIAL FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES.

Poetry -5 min ... again this mirrors the NSDA Nationals Supplemental event... delivered with a manuscript in-hand (i.e. black book) ...may not do a selection you are also performing in another event. BUT YOU MAY USE MATERIAL FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES.

Spontaneous -this is similar to impromptu...in-room draw...may use up to 3 minutes preparation time ...maximum 5 minutes of speaking time (using less prep time does NOT give you more speaking time) (neither may you take more prep time and speak for less)
