Salado High School Presents the Salado Online UIL Fall Classic
Online October 8th, 2022
We will offer all traditional UIL speaking events (CX debate, LD debate, Congress, Persuasive, Information, Prose and Poetry. These tournaments are intended for schools or teams that prefer "UIL style" forensics.
We will be using tabroom for registration and balloting. We will use NSDA campus for virtual rounds.

Keep in mind students will need to have their own tabroom account created and linked to the school/institution they attend and an email address attached/linked to their account.

Congress, Interp, Extemp $20 per competitor
LD $30 per competitor
CX $40 per team
1 judge for every 2 entries or less for CX or a missing judge fee of $150
1 judge for every 4 entries or less for LD or a missing judge fee of $125
1 judge for every 6 entries or less for IE/Congress or a missing judge fee of $125
CX Debate: Policy debate will use the 2022 - 2023 topic.
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its security cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity.
LD Debate: LD Debate will use the UIL Fall 2022 topic.
Resolved: Amateur status ought to be valued above commodification of Name Image Likeness.

Include the following: Tournament Name, Tournament Date, School Name (This will help to make our bookkeeping easier)
NOTE: Due to outstanding balances over the last two years that have been unpaid, we reserve the right to refuse participation to any school that hasn’t paid leading up to the tournament. We request that all payment be due three days prior to the start of the tournament.
