The Lamar Speech & Debate team welcomes you to the Lamar Texan Classic 2022 this year on January 27^th through 29^th, 2022. We are proud to serve as a Texas Forensic Association Invitational Qualifying Tournament and TOC bid tournament in Extemporaneous speaking.  We are committed to a quality tournament experience for students, coaches, and judges. As in past years, we will offer multiple sections for entries and a competitive experience for all contestants.

Attention Parents, Judges, and Volunteers:
We must ensure that all our judges, both paid and volunteer, are background-checked through VIPS (our background check system). This must be completed each year, regardless if you’ve completed VIPS in previous years.
