Colleagues,

            Thank you for your interest in the 2021 Lindale UIL Prep Tournament.  We are excited to welcome you to Lindale.  Our tournament will be held Friday, January 14 and Saturday, January 15.  Please check our schedule tab for the list of events and when they will compete.  We are excited to offer every UIL academic contest, every UIL speech and debate contest, as well as some other events (Humorous, Dramatic, Duo, Program of Oral Interp, Informative Oratory, and Original Oratory).  For our academic contests, we will utilize UIL Set A Materials (and ASW for Spelling).  UIL academic (non speech/debate) events will be divided into Large (6A, 5A) and Small (4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, Private) Schools unless there are not sufficient entries in an event to warrant this division.

           We are also excited to offer a Saturday version of CX.  This will be three rounds of CX Debate.  This is ideal for those who either 1) cannot come on Friday or 2) don't advance to Saturday's elimination rounds, but do wish to receive more practice for UIL districts.  Students may enter both the FULL CX Debate tournament and the Saturday only CX Debate tournament, but if they advance in the FULL tournament, they will be removed from the Saturday only.  (Please let me know if you have questions about this procedure.)

           (Please note:) We have some initial entry limits set, but we encourage you to utilize our waiting list if it is there.  We do our best to EMPTY our waitlist each year.  But we do like to set initial limits to make sure that as many school as possible can attend our tournament.
