Welcome to the 2021 Canyon County Classic Invitational

Friday and Saturday, November 5 and 6

This is intended to be in-person unless health conditions exist which cause it to be on-line!

Entry fees will be determined AFTER the tournament!  As I believe tournaments are not a fundraiser, I will be charging schools based on their entries to cover NSDA/Tabroom fees and awards as well as minimal overhead (judge food).

We will offer 3 rounds, plus finals, of the 14 IHSAA speech events on Friday with awards presented Friday evening.  If entries are small, a final round may not be held and awards will be presented based on the prelim results only.  A special award will be presented to the winner of each speech event. 

For debate on Saturday, we will use the November/December topics in LD and PF debate, the national policy topic, the current Big Questions topic, and the NSDA September and October legislation packets found on the NSDA website as well as attached on this website.    

There will be 4 prelims for all debate formats with a Gold/Silver round for those that qualify for elimination rounds.  There will 3 sessions of Congress on Saturday with a Finals for an appropriate number.  We will also award top PO awards.  A special award will be presented to the top entry in each debate format.
