2021 ONLINE YOUNG GENIUS ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL 

CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE TOURNAMENT

Young Genius Association is very excited to host our 7th annual online Congressional Debate tournament this spring. Our tournament will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021 and will be conducted entirely online.

Registration for this tournament is open for all student competitors from across the country and the globe. There are three categories: for elementary (4-5th grade), middle school (6-8th grade), and high school (9-12th grade) level competition. Please download our legislation docket and tournament handbook from the menu to the right.

We also offer a competitive division for 2nd-3rd grade students: campaign speech. Please consult the event descriptions in order to learn more about the format.

7:30 - 8:30AM • Mandatory Judge Check-In/Training

8:30 - 8:45AM • Tournament Welcome

9:00 - 10:15AM • Round 1 for all levels of Congress and Elementary Campaign Speech

10:15 - 10:30AM • Break

10:30 - 11:45AM • Round 2 for all levels of Congress and Elementary Campaign Speech

11:45AM - 12:45PM • Lunch Break

12:45 - 2:00PM • Round 3 for all levels of Congress and Elementary Campaign Speech

2:00 - 2:15PM • Break

2:15 - 3:30PM • Final Round (only for Middle and High School Congress)

3:30 - 3:45PM • Break
