2021 MERIDIAN DEBATE

Welcome to the 2021 Meridian Debate Tournament; Meridian High School is excited to host you virtually on Saturday, January 16^th!  This year we are hosting debate only, with varsity and novice divisions of LD, PF, CX, and Congress.

When: Saturday, January 16th

Where: Tabroom (all students and judges must have a tabroom.com account that is linked with your school)

Entry Deadline: The entry deadline is Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.  Drops after the deadline will result in a $50 drop fee.

Cost: $3 per entry

Judges: All entries must be covered.  If you do not have enough judges, please drop entries.

·       One judge per four PF/LD entries

·       One judge per two CX entries

·       One judge per five Congress entries

·       Judge no shows: A $20 missing round fee will be charged for each round a judge does not show up to their assigned round

Schedule:

Round 1: 8am-10:10am

Congress Round 1: 8:15am-10:30am

Round 2: 10:15am-12:25pm

Congress Round 2: 11:15am-1:30pm

Round 3: 12:30pm-2:40pm

Congress Round 3: 2pm-4:15pm

Round 4: 2:45pm-4:55pm

Congress Supers: 4:30pm -7:00 pm

Round 5: 5:00-7:30
