10/5/20 Update: Truman has combined with Brian Winckler from Grain Valley to host the three debate events. Find those details below!

All bonafide High Schools are welcome. No Independent entries allowed. 

4 initial entries per school per event. We admit as many as possible after that as long as it does not make it impossible to pair. 

New Entries due Friday, Oct 23rd, by 8 pm.

Video links due Saturday, Oct 24th, by 5 pm. Please try to get these in earlier. 

Students can enter as many Novice Asynch IE's as they wish, and enter 1 Synchronous Debate Event. 

IE's:

$3 an Entry for IE's.  Awards for finalists. 

All asynchronous speech events.

4 prelims.  

Rounds 1 and 2 released Monday by 8 am. Please have your judges finish judging by 7 pm CST.

Round 3 will be power matched off rounds 1 and 2, and released by 8 am Tuesday. Judging due by 7 pm CST.

Round 4 will be power matched, and released by 8 am Wednesday. Judging due by 7 pm CST.

Finals will be released on Thursday morning by 8 am. Judging due by 7 pm CST.

1 judge per 6 entries. We assume that judge will be one of your varsity students with greater than 150 NSDA points.

Congress 

Students will submit two speeches. 

Submit one speech for prelims; choose from any of the even # legislation. 

Submit one speech for elims; choose from any of the odd # legislation.

Duo must be split-screen.

Debate:

Friday, October 30th:
4 pm- Round 1
6 pm- Round 2
 
Saturday, October 31st:
8 am- Round 3
10 am- Round 4
12:30 pm- Round 5
2:30 pm- Round 6

$6 per debate entry

1 judge per 3 debate entries. We assume that judge will be one of your varsity students with greater than 150 NSDA points.
