Event Description:
This year we will be hosting Congress along side our policy tournament. The number of chambers will depend on the number of entries. There will be four sessions that should run approximately the same time as the policy rounds: 8am, 9:45am, 12:15pm, and 1:45pm. The students may take breaks as needed as long as they have an hour of debate per round. We will do awards along side the policy kids unless the coaches prefer to pick up their medals early. The lunch period is from 11:15am-12:15pm. It should roughly align with the policy students. We will use the September and October 2025 NSDA Legislation. The students will caucus to decide on the order which they will have to vote to adopt once the chamber is called to order and a PO is elected. We will have coaches PO in order to maximize student speeches with only 6 participants.
