Event Description:

Welcome to the DOMESTIC EXTEMPORANEOUS SPEAKING Division!

In this event, you will pick ONE of three US Domestic topic options to give a 7 minute speech on. You will have 30 minutes to conduct research and organize notes on your chosen topic. Please record your speech and upload it to Tabroom once you are done.
You may use any resource, including the internet, to conduct research. However, you may not consult any coaches or peers.
Please reference our honesty policy for any rules and violations. This is a one-person event.

Topics: (Keep in mind you only need to pick ONE of these three topics!)

1. Is President Biden waiting too long to announce whether he is running for re-election?

2. Have Americans become numb to school shootings?

3. Are current US bank bailouts benefiting or hurting our economy?
