Event Description:
Six preliminary rounds of LD beginning Friday afternoon, breaking to Octofinals (pending entries), and using the January-February NFL LD topic. Schools are initially limited to 8 entries in LD; no more than two may be designated as novice (see below). Space permitting, we will accept waitlisted entries beginning two weeks before the tournament. No double entry. One judge for every 3 three entries (or fraction thereof).During elimination rounds of each event, the top 4 novice entries that do not break will compete in separate Novice Semifinal and Final rounds. All debate judges are eligible for the Novice Semifinal rounds. Novices are inexperienced debaters 10th grade or younger.
