Event Description:
The Daily Show is an extemporaneous commentary event. The competitor has 30 minutes to prepare his/her 5 minute speech on an assigned topic. The speech is delivered from a seated position, much like a news anchor would do. The speech should be topical amd arranged like an extemporaneous speech. This event is open to competitors in grades 6-8.
