Event Description:
Time: 40 min. round. Panel Discussion Topics will be selected using issues of the day, derived from headline news. Panel members do not make formal
speeches, but remain seated and discuss the topic informally. Emphasis is on problem-solving through group consensus. Panelists should be familiar
with the topic and be prepared to discuss facts and opinions. Topics will be attached. Competitors may bring prepared notes containing their research
surrounding the listed topics.
