Informative Speaking is a 5-minute presentation written and performed by the student. Informative requires students to balance that content with delivery and style. Students in Informative must be articulate, engaging, and smooth with their vocal and physical delivery. The event's purpose is to inform and educate the audience on a topic of significance.
Original Oratory is a 5-minute presentation written and performed by the student. Oratory requires students to balance that content with delivery and style. Students in Oratory must be articulate, engaging, and smooth with their vocal and physical delivery. The event's purpose is to persuade while educating the audience on a topic of significance.
Material: Elementary Informative and Oratory scripts are templates and are exactly the same except for 2 sections of the scripts self-written by the students.
Time Length: 5 minutes with a 30 second period
