Event Description:
This tournament is unique in that we want to give middle schools students the experience of breaking out of the cycle of reusing old debate content and put them in a position to research and be some of the first to formulate new ideas. Thus, after much deliberation, the topic that was voted in is:
Resolved: Genome editing of plants and animals has more benefits than harms.
Because we know this is unusual, we will release a basic topic breakdown within the next couple weeks to help everyone get to work on research.
