Event Description:
Individuals or pairs will sing and perform a song from a published stage musical or movie musical. Costumes, hand props, and make-up are allowed. Song choices, choreography, and costuming should be school-appropriate. Dangerous choreography is prohibited! Judges will evaluate entries primarily on the effectiveness of delivery, musical pitch, and characterization of the piece.
Students must use the same selection for all three rounds.
The time limit for Musical Theatre is 5 minutes with 30 seconds grace.
