Event Description:

Please stop by the tabroom to get your topics for the round.

Take two competitors. Have a coin toss. The winner can choose either the topic or the side. Whoever chooses the topic picks first. Debaters have 1 minute total of prep time to use during the round. Then the debate proceeds as follows:

Affirmative Constructive: 1 minute

Negative Constructive: 1 minute

Crossfire: 1 minute

Affirmative Rebuttal: 1 minute

Negative Rebuttal: 1 minute

If you have an odd number of competitors in the round, have one student compete twice–that student only receives a score and placement for the first debate.
