Event Description:
A combination of Oratory and Declamation.
Original Oratory:
7-10 minutes
A presentation consisting of a memorized/prepared original speech on a topic of choice. It must be original. The presentation must include a short introduction. Limited movement is permitted, whereas costumes and props are prohibited.
Declamation:
7-10 minutes
A presentation consisting of a memorized oral interpretation of a speech. Original works should not be used, and notes during the performance are not permitted. The presentation must include a short, original introduction to give background and insight to your piece.
