Dear Coach,

We would like to invite your team to compete at the annual 2014 Randolph Middle School Classic forensics tournament at Randolph Middle School on Friday, May 16th, 2014!  Students may enter in up to two of the following three events: Prose/Poetry, Impromptu/Improv., and Original Oratory/Declamation.  All students in grades 6-8 are eligible to participate.

The deadline for registration is Monday, May 12^th.  All entries registered after that date will be charged a $5 late fee.  Drops from the tournament are allowed until Wednesday, May 14^th; after that, all drops will be charged a $5 late fee.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:  The tournament will run as follows:
            3:00- Check-in and last minute registration       
            4:00- Round One
            5:00- Round Two
            6:00- Round Three
            7:00- Dinner break
            7:30- Final Rounds for all events (the six competitors receiving the best ranks
                      in the first three rounds will compete for 1^st-6^th in one room)
            9:00- Award Ceremony (the top three in each event will receive a trophy)

JUDGES: All judges will be provided.  Each judge has experience competing in forensics at the high school level.

FEES:  Fees must be paid in the form of cash or a check (payable to Randolph High School Forensics Parent Booster Association). 

            Processing Fee: $15 per school
            Entry Fee: $10 per entry
           

FOOD: Each competitor will receive a meal ticket redeemable for one slice of pizza and one water bottle.  Additional slices, as well as other snacks and beverages, will be available for purchase.
