Prose/ Poetry

Event Description:

Prose/Poetry Reading: Selections must be from a published source. Selections must possess literary merit and be age appropriate. An adequate introduction should be provided. No props may be used. Selections should not be memorized. Prose selections must be no more than 50% dialogue. Poetry selections may be a combination of short poems on the same theme or by same author OR they may be from a longer poetic piece. Time limit: 4 minutes maximum.
