I am a beginner parent judge. Speaking speed should be slow and clear. Make sure to keep your arguments very clear and respectful. For debate, I will vote for whoever convinces me towards their argument best.

I like clean debates. Follow through with all arguments, clashes and frameworks. I don't flow crossfire, so if your opponent concedes then bring it up in a later speech. Ask clear and concise questions during cross. Good luck!

I am a former debater and I am a coach currently.

I appreciate clear sign posts. I am fine with spreading. I will flow your round. I do not think absolutely everything you say requires a card and I believe demanding carded evidence for everything is really just a means to make debate more inaccessible.

Primarily, I am concerned with your rhetoric skills and your ability to present clear and thoughtful responses to your opponents' arguments. Can you put together a cohesive case? Do you have a deep understanding of the evidence you are reading and are you able to defend it with passion? Are you able to find gaps in your opponent's logic? Are you able to weigh impacts? These are the things I will vote on.
