Additional remarks: Speech and debate is meant to make you better at communication, not at talking fast. I do not like spreading at all. I understand speaking slightly faster than normal to get all of your points, but you should not spread. If you start spreading I will raise my hand to warn you before I simply stop flowing your arguments. If the finalists in the national circuit typically do not spread, then neither should you. I am new to judging, so please try to minimize jargon. In your off-time roadmap, clearly tell me what you are going to be doing and in what order! This helps me set up my flow. Please explicitly tell me what your value and value criterion are. Clearly state your impacts and why you should win the debate during your final rebuttal.

Note: if you wish for your pronouns to appear the debaters you judge on text/email blasts, log into Tabroom, click Profile at top, and add them in the Pronouns field.
