Additional remarks:

I prefer clear value and criteria and I like that contentions are ultimately impacted through those value and criteria. There needs to be clash with these in the round.If different, I want the debater to explain to me why their value and criteria ought to be considered over their opponents. Even if both debaters have the same value and criteria, I will want to see how your side of the topic is the best way to achieve them.
