Additional remarks: I am the most avoided circuit policy judge possible…a Lay California judge! I value deliberate argumentation, where I can handle a little bit of speed (as long as I can understand what you are saying) and REALLY appreciate having my hand held throughout the entire round. Tell me why you win, why they lose, and how voting for your interpretation best solves the resolution. If you decide to run the K do not assume the I have background knowledge that will fill in any gaps that you leave in the space, as I won’t. I like outside of the box approaches to this activity so long as I can feel like you educated me throughout the round. Additionally, if I feel that what you are reading is inherently racist, discriminatory, xenophobic, or just outright the propagation of hate I will not only drop you, but lodge a direct complaint against you/your program with the tournament. I have zero tolerance for semantics and even less for debaters who read whatever their coaches provide to them without any true self evaluation of the positions, authors, or ideologies being promoted. YOU are responsible for what you read in round…

Note: if you wish for your pronouns to appear the debaters you judge on text/email blasts, log into Tabroom, click Profile at top, and add them in the Pronouns field.
