Additional remarks: I judge policy most of the time, but I always judge 50 + LD rounds a year. I judge lots of value/criteria rounds, as well as debates about DA's/K's/CP's. I have voted negative and affirmative on conditionality, the arguments should be well warranted including specific reasons condo is G/B in LD. If you just read infinite condo good blocks without taking into consideration time and other differences in LD then I can be persuaded that condo is bad. The negative is smart to make a counter-interpretation pertaining to number of arg's etc. The person who makes the most arguments doesn't win based on the number of arguments read. There needs to be impact comparisons or value/criteria assessments in every round. Just because I will evaluate faster LD styles does not mean you have to go fast, it probably does mean that you need to focus more on the macro/meta issues of the debate. CONGRATULATIONS on being here at Nationals, GOOD LUCK!!!
