I keep detailed notes throughout the roundMy style of judging is mainly around the main concept of the debate; in LD, this comes down to which case provides a persuasive word in which the resolution is interpreted, so that I may choose the most moral outcome. I am generally ok with many practices such as self-timing, road maps, and such (only if they support the debater during the round). I will say that I am not a fan of spreading, as it is used as a means to cram information into a speech and not a means to flesh out and deliver a nuanced, well prepared case.
