I keep a rigorous flowI am strongly opposed to plans and policy-type arguments in LD. LD exists to NOT be policy debate. I won't "vote against a student for exceeding [my] preferred rate of speed", but if I can't understand the argument, for whatever reason, I can't consider the argument. You can go faster than conversational speed, but it is still a verbal communication event and I have to understand you. And, no, I won't say "clear" if you are going too fast, just like I won't warn you if you are making incoherent arguments at a leisurely pace.
