How necessary do you feel the use of evidence (both analytical and empirical) is in the round?

5/91 = Not necessary
9 = Always necessary

Please describe your personal note-taking during the round

I keep detailed notes throughout the round
Additional remarks: 1. Speaking -Speak slower, I do not accept spreading/speeding. If your arguments are not delivered at a reasonable pace, I will not be able to understand them and thus will not flow them. -I will doc speaks for any offensive language or overly aggressive activity within the round. Debate is a positive, friendly experience, and if I feel this is not upheld within the round it will be reflected. 2. Round -I favor a clear outline of the round weighing both sides complete with good reasoning. -1/2ARs and 1NR should be focused on weighing underneath the values. -I will accept 1AR evidence as long as it is directly in relation to refutation to the 1NC; I will be highly critical of evidence introduced in the 1NR, 2AR.
