Additional remarks: In Lincoln-Douglas debate, I find it critical to have a clear connection between your value, criterion, and points in your case. As you go down the flow in the round, it is important to attack all of your opponent's points and then go back to reaffirm your own. If you are not consistent with the attacks and the defense of your own case, I will weigh that in the round. I will pay close attention to key arguments in the round and also look to see who showed the most weight and impact in the round based on who better upholds their value, criterion, and arguments in the case.
