tournament info

hi everyone!

we would love it if you would join us for the damien-st. lucy's novice policy scrimmage!

this is intended to be an opportunity for students who are super new to policy debate to get some experience with their first few debates! we would like to keep the atmosphere friendly, with a focus on learning (not competition), so please bring students and judges that align with that ethos!

we will have several students here competing in their first ever policy tournament, and we want to be encouraging!

schedule:

round 1 -- 8am to 10am

round 2 -- 10:30am to 12:30pm

--lunch break--

round 3 -- 1:30pm to 3:30pm

very quick awards ceremony -- 3:30-3:45

fees: $45 per entry

meal fees: $15 per non-competing individual you will have on campus (judges, non-judging coaches, varsity mentors, etc). so, don't pay the meal fee for your students. their meals are included with entry fee. only pay it for the other people in your party!
