Tournament Information

Bentley School welcomes you to its fifth annual Middle School Invitational on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The tournament will be held at the Upper School campus at 1000 Upper Happy Valley Road, Lafayette, CA 94549. (Lafayette! Not our Oakland campus!)

Students in 6th-8th grade are welcome to compete in Middle School Congress, Oratory, Informative, Impromptu, Declamation, Humorous, Dramatic, or Duo Interpretation. We will collapse to prepared speech and interpretation if individual event divisions are small. Congressional debaters may not double-enter. High school students are eligible to participate as judges. Adult chaperones (coaches/parents/teachers) must remain on campus. The high school judges will also need chaperones.

Congressional Debate Legislation will be linked here by 11/11/26.
