Welcome to DSDL #2

Welcome back to the 2026–2027 Dogwood Speech & Debate League season!

We are excited to continue the season with DSDL #2 at Apex Friendship High School. We look forward to welcoming students, coaches, judges, and families for another day of learning, competition, and community.

Please Review the DSDL Manual

As a reminder, there are several changes for the 2026–2027 season, and coaches, competitors, and judges should carefully review the current DSDL Manual before attending the tournament.

The manual contains the rules, procedures, event requirements, and league policies that govern DSDL competition this season. Please do not rely solely on procedures or expectations from previous years, as a number of updates have been made.

Coaches are responsible for making sure that their students and judges are familiar with the rules that apply to their events.

Our goal is to provide students with a competitive experience that is educational, welcoming, and professionally run. Thank you to our coaches, judges, volunteers, and our hosts at Apex Friendship High School for making these opportunities possible.

We look forward to another great tournament and wish all of our competitors the very best at DSDL #2!

Please email dsdltournamentdirector@gmail.com with any questions. We ask that only coaches or sponsors email with questions.
