WELCOME!

We here at Lynbrook are excited to announce the return of our Lynbrook Invitational for Novice speech and debate. We hope this tournament gives debaters a chance to test their knowledge in a fun, beginner-friendly setting. This year, we will host Novice Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, Congress, Declamation, Original Oratory, Extemporaneous, and Impromptu events for all interested and passionate novice participants.

Registration:
To pay for tournament entries, please navigate to the Finances tab.

Eligibility:
For this tournament, all entries that are currently in middle school or high school novice teams that have participated in 2 or fewer tournaments within their entered event are eligible to participate in the Lynbrook Invitational.

Judging:
We ask teams to provide a set number of judges for each event in which they participate. The judge amounts are given below:
PF. Policy, LD: 2 entries per judge
Speech: 4 entries per judge
Congress: 3 entries per judge.
The tournament will also be offering hired judging for $10 per round. To pay these fees, please navigate to our Finances tab.

Double Entries:
The tournament allows double entries between Speech and LD/PF and has purposely staggered round times to accommodate this. If one or more of your students plans to double-enter, please email the tournament director to notify them.
