Welcome to the Richland Raider and Rock Hill Blue Hawk TFA-TOC Swing hosted virtually on NSDA Campus on December 3-5, 2026. We are so glad you decided to join us online for this tournament, and we look forward to all the competition and support.

TFA/TOC Qualification:

-All synchronous speech events (Extemp/Platform/Interp events on the Richland side, including Extemp on the Rock Hill side) will be eligible for bids to the Tournament of Champions. TOC bids will not be offered for all debate events on both sides of the swing, as well as the asynchronous speech events on the Rock Hill side, which are only eligible for TFA points.

-All varsity debate and speech events are eligible for TFA points and qualification on both the Richland and Rock Hill sides of the swing.

Cross Entry Rules:

Students can enter in up to 3 events on the synchronous Richland side, and unlimited entries for the asynchronous Rock Hill side.

All debate events may not cross enter in speech events.

Students are encouraged to compete in both sides of the swing in the same event if available.

Congressional Debate:

Prelims: TBD (Novice Prelims)

Semis: TBD (Novice Finals)

Finals: TBD

**Novice Congress will use Prelim Legislation and "Semis" for finals**

Extemp Categories:

DX Areas: TBD

**Novice extemp will use DX topic areas**

FX Areas: TBD

LD/PF

Will use the NSDA Varsity Topic for November/December, including Novice Divisions.

Misc. Notes:

-Debate brackets will not be broken.

-All qualifying events follow TFA rules. PRO/POE will follow TFA rules, but selections that fit either of the UIL categories will also be allowed.

-Richland/Rock Hill High School students will be competing

**All competitors must be registered by their schools and by a school district employee - Students may not independently enter. If it is found that students entered without their coach's knowledge or consent, said school's administration will be notified.**
