Welcome to the 2026 ACPMS Battle of the Knights

Tournament Site: In-Person at Arizona College Prep Middle School (1150 W. Erie St. Chandler, AZ 85224)

This tournament is for Arizona Middle Schools Only. Students must be in the 5th - 8th grade. Coaches should be the one preparing the team's entry.

Competition Events at this Tournament

Schools are limited to six entries per event, excluding Congressional Debate. Schools may enter up to 15 competitors in the Congressional Debate. Congress and LD entries may not be double entered in any other events. A competitor may double-enter in speech events only. Tournament event fees are $10 per entry.

We will offer the following Debate Events: Big Questions Debate (1 Maverick entry per school, otherwise all entries need to compete in partners) & Congressional Debate (The docket is already out! You can find it on the right hand side under uploads!)

We will offer the following Speech Events: Story Telling, Duo Interpretation, Prose, Impromptu, Original Oratory, & Informative Speaking. (In the event we don’t have enough entries in OO or Info to run a proper round, we will collapse the two events into one)

High School Judges: Any high school Juniors or Seniors who have at least 250 NSDA points are eligible to judge MS events. If you would like to judge at the tournament contact Miranda Vega (located under contacts in the top right corner) so she can get you registered! You may receive service points for judging.
