he Summit School cordially invites you to attend the Annual Eagles
Interpretation Contest.

The contest will be on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Thecontest will be for 7th - 12th grade students.

If you need more spaces – just add this to your entry sheet. No limit in any of the
categories. A STUDENT CAN BE TRIPLE ENTERED.

The registration fees are listed at the end of this letter. Each school is required to
furnish one judge for every six (or fraction thereof) entries. If you need to hire a
judge, one can be secured through me at a cost of $75.00 each (I know they cost
a lot more than they use to –but worth every ounce in gold). I don’t have many so
check before you write down to hire. You must bring the number of judges on
Saturday that you require at the registration deadline. Please do not come with
drops on Saturday and plan to drop a judge also. Fees will be determined the day
your entry is due. If drops are required at your school, you will still be asked to
pay the original amount that was due. Substitutes may be made after that, but if
you have additions, you will need to notify me as soon as you know. At that time,
a determination will be made if there is room in that area of competition for your
extra entry or entries. Please adjust the amount you owe for any additions that
you bring that day.

The following schedule will be used (it will be a rolling schedule - we will move
ahead when possible!!!):
8:45 to 9:15 - Registration by the gym
9:15 to 9:30 - Meeting in the gym
9:30 to 10:30 - Round 1
10:45 - 11:45 - Round 2
12:00 - 1:00 - Round 3
1:30 or sooner - Results

I will be doing most of my correspondence by email. You will receive your time
slots for each round by email. So watch YOUR EMAIL!!!!! Please copy programs
for your students and judges. A few extra copies will be available at the meet.
The concession stand will be open to you and your students by the school gym.
We will present ribbons to all students based on composite ratings – not
rankings!!!!

Submit your registration by Saturday, October 3rd by 5:00 PM. If issues come up, please call me at the school (605-398-6211) or my cellphone (605-880-0267). When I receive your entry, I will send you a quick note. Soif you do not hear from me by day two of submitting your entry, please notify me
