WORLD SCHOOLS DEBATE (WSD) - WSD Live Doc (Motions)

Dear Competitors, Coaches, and Judges,

The Nova Titan Speech & Debate Team cordially invites you to the 25th Annual Nova Titan Invitational, held in person at the Nova Middle and High School campuses in beautiful Davie, Florida on October 10th and 11th, 2026. We offer quality competition in four debate categories: World Schools Debate, Congressional Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Public Forum Debate, as well as eight Individual Events: Mixed Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Program Oral Interpretation! We intend to offer Varsity and Junior Varsity (JV) divisions in Debate events if there are sufficient entries.

TOC, Speech:
Champion - Min 8 Entries / 3 Schools / 3 Prelims AND Finals
Top 3 - Min 16 Entries / 4 Schools / 3 Prelims AND Finals
Finals (Up to 6 Bids) - Min 30 Entries / 5 Schools / 3 Prelims AND Semis + Finals
Semifinals (Up to 12 Bids) - Min 60 Entries / 10 Schools / 4 Prelims AND Quarters Onward
Quarterfinals (Up to 24 Bids) - Min 120 Entries / 10 Schools / 4 Prelims AND Octos Onward

NIETOC, Speech:

5-10 contestants = FIRST PLACE BID
11-20 contestants = TOP 3 BID
21-50 contestants = FINALS BID (Max 8)
51-60 contestants = SEMIS BID (Max 16)
61-70 contestants = EXTENDED SEMIS BID (Max 20)
71-100 contestants = QUARTERS BID (Max 26)
101+ contestants = OCTAS BID (Max 50)

Florida Blue Key, Round Robin:
In addition, we are proud to announce the RETURN of official bids to the Florida Blue Key Round Robin at the amazing University of Florida (UF) for our TOP 3 finishers in each of the following events: HI, DI, Extemp, Congress, PF, and LD!
