WELCOME TO TEMPLAR TRIALS AT MANTI HIGH SCHOOL

The tournament will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026. Registration is now open. Templar Trials will serve as part 1 of the Central Utah Speech & Debate Circuit (CUSDC 1); however, everyone is invited to attend.

Events:
Speech: Original Oratory, Impromptu Speaking, Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking,
Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, POI, Duo Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, and Informative Speaking.
Debate: LD Debate, Public Forum Debate, Policy Debate, Student Congress & SpAr.

Schedule:
7:30 a.m. - Registration
7:45 a.m. - Judges’ Meeting
8:00 a.m. - I.E. Round I
9:15 a.m. - I.E., Round II
10:30 a.m. - I.E., Round III
12 noon - Debate Round 1
1:30 p.m. - Debate Round 2
3:00 p.m. - Debate Round 3
5:30 p.m. - Awards

Tropies:
Event winners will receive first, second, and third place medalions. Sweepstakes tropies will be awarded to teams who finish first, second, or third in the tournament.

Food:
Snacks and water will be available in the Judges' Room, and lunch will be provided to judges and coaches at 11:30 a.m.
