Invite Information

Triumph Debate will be hosting a camp tournament that is open to the public on August 1st (Saturday) and 2nd (Sunday). The tournament will have 6 preliminary rounds for Lincoln Douglas Debate (5 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday) as well as 5 preliminary rounds for Policy Debate (4 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday). We will break to quarters (subject to change, depending on entries).

The tournament will be hosted via Discord, and check in will begin at 8am EST, with round 1 kicking off at 9am EST. There is no registration fee - everyone is free to attend! Students and schools are highly encouraged to bring a judge with them. If you or your team is unable to provide a judge, please let us know at infotriumphdebate@gmail.com and we may be able to make an exception.

Registration closes July 31st at 5pm EST.

Tournament topics are:

Lincoln Douglas - Resolved: The United States ought to guarantee universal child care.

Policy Debate - Resolved: The United States federal government should enact substantial criminal justice reform in the United States in one or more of the following: forensic science, policing, sentencing.
