Benson Center Not Available This Weekend

Hello everyone, 

We have an announcement regarding the use of the Benson Center this weekend. With ongoing construction at SCU, and the food services on campus wanting to keep their space for feeding SCU students during the weekend, we have been asked not to use the Benson Center at all throughout the weekend. 

We are honoring this request. We ask that no students, coaches, and judges enter the Benson Center for any reason. There will be no competition spaces in Benson, and participants should hang out in Daly 207 and surrounding areas in between rounds. Judges may go to the Judges room in Daly 206. Competitors, coaches, and judges may get food delivered to campus or eat at any of the nearby restaurants. We will send out another email with the names of local restaurants that will be open during the tournament.

Please note that the Benson Center and the cafeteria will remain open, but we ask that tournament attendees do not go inside. We will have two security guards outside the Benson Center to remind tournament attendees to not enter the Benson Center. It is imperative that we allow the university to effectively serve the SCU students this weekend, and we ask for your help in doing so by not going into the Benson Center throughout the weekend.
