Schedule for Districts

Here is Friday's timeline and Saturday's start time. This is very important. Please make your travel plans accordingly.

FRIDAY: 12:30: First Extemp round blasted on Tabroom.

1:00: 1st Speaker draws in Extemp Prep Room (Do not be late!)

Schools with students in either division of Extemp must be on campus and in the Extemp prep room by 12:45. We strongly recommend a 12:30 arrival, but 12:45 at the absolute latest.

Our goal is to have two rounds of both IX and USX on Friday (total of four rounds between the two). This can only be done if everyone arrives and proceeds to rounds at the posted times. At this time we have not decided whether USX or IX will go first, but we do plan on the consecutive rounds rotating between the two events.

The rest of your team not in Extemp should be on campus and ready to begin competition by 3 PM. Not every event will begin at that time but any event may begin at that time. Due to the nature of districts and the large number of double entries in time consuming events, rounds in any event are subject to begin at any time. It's impossible to post a precise schedule. So Extemp competitors need to be ready for draw at 1 PM and all other events need to be ready by 3 PM.

Saturday: Every should be back and ready to compete at 8:00 am.
