4. USC Facilities & Accommodations

Hotel information: We will not have a block at any hotel this year.

Parking: On Campus Daily Parking $20 via Text2Park (T2P) [Parking Lot Map]

Tournament Locations and Map: Debaters should proceed to their assigned room when pairings are released. They should be able to locate the building using the campus map. Debates will occur in multiple buildings across campus. Campus map is available in your browser or as an iOS app.

Wi-Fi: You may use the USC Guest Wireless network for wireless access while at USC. No USC NetID username or password is needed. To connect to USC Guest Wireless, choose the “USC Guest Wireless” network in your device’s wireless settings.

All-Gender Restrooms: At USC, all single stall restrooms are gender-inclusive. If you are looking for a multi-stall restroom, there is an all-gender multi-stall restroom on the 4th floor of the Student Union (STU) and in the School of Cinematic Arts. [All Gender Restroom Map]

Water Bottle Refill Stations: Free water refill stations are available across campus, we suggest all tournament participants bring a refillable water bottle. [marked on the map here]

Hang-out Areas: Teams do not have assigned prep rooms. In case of inclement weather, shared spaces will be available.

Warnings: Please do not enter rooms without your judge. No food or drink (besides water) in debate rooms.

What your team should bring: Chaperones should have students’ emergency forms available. We also suggest packing snacks your team might want. We won’t be selling snacks, but a number of markets and restaurants are available on campus at the USC Village.
