Parent Judge Information

An adequate judge pool is vital to having a great tournament! Please help by judging faithfully as parents when needed, and also by supporting, recruiting, and appreciating our Guest Judges.

Team Debate: Register one judge per team (maximum two per family)*

Individual Events (I.E.): Register one judge per student (maximum two per family)*

Parent Judges:

• All parents must indicate names of parents judging when students are registered with the club registrar for each tournament. This also gives us our list for nametags so please register your attendance even if you have a staff job.
• Parents are expected to be available to judge the entire tournament. If this is not possible, then please recruit Guest Judges to cover this need.
• To fulfill parent judge requirements, first register both parents as judges and then recruit Guest Judges as needed.
• If someone other than the Parent (alumni, another club member, etc.) is filling a competitor’s judge requirement, please notify the Registrar/Tournament Director at the beginning of the registration period. cco.louisville@gmail.com
• Parent Judge registrations should be completed at the same time as student registration.

Guest Judges:

• Guest judges are anyone other than a parent of competitors.
• Alumni should register as Guest Judges.

• Guest Judge registrations are open through 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2024
