Entry Limits

Each school may enter a number of entries in each event that is no more than one higher than the TCFL's Allocation to the California High School Speech Association's State Tournament. You can see TCFL's Allocation List here.

For 2023-2024, the per-event entry limits are:

Declamation - 7 Entries

Dramatic Interpretation - 6 Entries

DUO Interpretation - 6 Entries

Humorous Interpretation - 6 Entries

Impromptu - 7 Entries

Informative - 6 Entries

International Extemp - 6 Entries

National Extemp - 6 Entries

Original Advocacy - 7 Entries

Original Oratory - 5 Entries

Original Prose & Poetry - 7 Entries

Program Oral Interpretation - 7 Entries
