Judging Info and Application

Judging Requirements

Each school must provide two judges for each day of competition.

Your entry will not be accepted if you do not provide judges on tabroom and have them fill out the google doc listed above. Good judges are the key to a good tournament. Take the time to recruit quality people that you would want judging your students.

Space City will pay hired judges $20 per round.

Schools are responsible for recruiting and contacting these judges.

Judge names and experience/philosophies must be submitted on tabroom.com by Tuesday, March 21st. You will submit a strike list by Tuesday March 29th @ 1:00 PM.

Schools are responsible for recruiting qualified judges who are at least 2 years out of competition. First year out judges should not be entered in the pool by a school.

One coach/assistant coach from every school must be available for every round for the judging pool. All coaches in the pool must submit judging philosophies for the strike sheet information.

All coaches/assistant coaches, not involved in tournament administration, must be available to judge during the tournament. Coaches will be in the judging pool until they are released to leave by the judging table.

Failure to follow the judging guidelines will result in students being removed from the tournament. Coaches must be available during the tournament. You will be assigned rounds.

Space City coaches/assistant coaches will not be paid. Judging is a requirement of your participation in the tournament.

Your registration will not be complete until you have submitted judging information for school coaches and required judges.

Your judges must be registered on the Google form. This is the same form you will use to enter judging paradigms.

An additional pool of judges will be hired by the NSDA Space City Committee.
