CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE INFORMATION

We would like to invite all member schools of the LBJ TX District to attend this year's Congressional Debate National Qualifying competition. Please see the information below for further information.

When: Wednesday, February 22, 2023

Where: Emerson High School 6300 Collin McKinney Parkway McKinney, TX 75070

Directions to Emerson High School

Parking: Follow the Event Parking signs to the rear of the building. Park in the lot between the ball fields and the building. You will be facing the library, where check-in will be held.

Tentative Schedule:

Registration 8:00 am

Announcements and Oaths 8:20 am

Preliminary Sessions 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Lunch 11:30 am - 12:30 am *(Individual school's responsibility)

There are several restaurants within a five (5) mile radius. Microwaves are available on campus and in the student holding room.

Final Session 12:35 pm - 3:45 pm

**Qualifiers and awards will be announced at the conclusion of the Congressional Debate session**
