TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

All competitors MUST be accompanied by an adult on campus at all times. Any competitor found violating this requirement will be asked to leave the tournament.

All events will follow TFA Rules.
All qualifying speech events will receive bids to the NIETOC at the level dictated by entries.

***We will not be breaking brackets in debate.

We will not be providing paper copies of postings during the course of the tournament. Please make sure that you have access to tabroom.com for all round information.

CONGRESS: Congress will use Legislation Items 1-10 for prelims, 11-20 for semis, and 21-30 for finals.

CROSS ENTRIES:
Section A: USX, IX, DI, OO, PR, NPR, Duo
Section B: PO, NPO, HI, POI, INFO, Duet

Students may enter no more than 2 entries per section. Cross-entered students are responsible for making it to their rounds on time. Additionally, students are only able to enter one division of extemp.

Students who are entered in LD, PF, and Congress may enter no more than 1 event in section A, and may not enter events in section B.

Students entered in CX may not cross enter in other events.

SPEECH BREAKS:
Events with 16 or fewer entries will advance straight to finals.
Events with more than 16 entries will advance to semifinals.

SWEEPSTAKES:

Speech and Congress:
1st place - 20 points
2nd place - 15 points
3rd place - 10 points
Finalists - 5 points

Debate:
1st place - 20 points
2nd place - 15 points
Semifinalists - 10 points
Quarterfinalists - 5 points
