Event Awards

In individual events, all finalists will receive trophies. In duet events, both partners will receive trophies. In readers theatre and lip sync, each team will receive a single trophy.

In Congressional Debate, all finalists will receive trophies.

In Lincoln-Douglas and public forum debate, students reaching the quarterfinal round will receive trophies.

In world schools debate, members of the first and second place teams will receive trophies.

Please Note: In Lincoln-Douglas and public forum debate, non-advancing quarterfinalists and semifinalists will receive their trophies at the conclusion of their quarterfinal and semifinal rounds.

Sweepstakes Awards

Team sweepstakes trophies will be awarded to the top three teams. Sweepstakes points will be awarded as follows:

Individual Events

First Place = 15 points

Second Place = 12 points

Third Place = 10 points

Fourth Place = 8 points

Fifth Place = 6 points

Sixth Place = 4 points

Congressional Debate

First Place = 15 points

Second Place = 12 points

Third Place = 10 points

Fourth Place = 8 points

Fifth Place = 6 points

Sixth Place = 4 points

All Other Finalists = 2 points

Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate

First Place = 15 points

Second Place = 12 points

Non-Advancing Semifinalist = 10 points
