We have invited a couple of LAMDL alumni to give a “Ted Talk.” The talks will expose debaters to the different college journeys that our alumni experience. More specifically, the speakers will focus on:

• high school experience, professional goals, volunteer work, internships, work, travel, etc.
• College Undergraduate experience and Initial thoughts, Challenges, Successes, etc

The speakers are:

• Bao Yi Lei (Stern/Harvard)
• Josué Sáenz (Stern/Harvard)
• Jennifer Flores (ELC/USC)
• Harut Kejejyan (Bravo/Fullerton College/ CSU, Fullerton)

Students regardless of tournament participation are welcome to attend. Having the opportunity to listen to different college experiences and advice helps with exposure and we hope that it will help LAMDL debaters navigate and conquer college.
