COVID Protocol

1. It is USD 501 policy that all individuals in the building must be masked at all times unless you are actively eating or drinking.  This includes while speaking.  Anyone who is found to be in open defiance of these policies will be disqualified.

2. We encourage speaking from your table/desk area, as well as doing cross-x from your areas and not getting near each other.  Judges will be instructed to sit far, far away.

2. We will not have access to our large common areas (cafeteria, gym, auditorium etc.) and we will have teams in their own "home base" classrooms where you can bunker down between rooms.

3. I am attempting to see if I can negotiate in some of our boxed lunches we're doing for hospitality at a lower rate for a meal on Saturday for everyone, and I will know by Thursday the 11th for certain.  We have built in a little longer break for you to travel to get meals or have things delivered if necessary.

4. We will not have concessions for students, but we will have grab and go hospitality for judges, and if we stay small in terms of schools, then we may go ahead and have some snack boxes for schools as well (I will keep you posted on that as well).

5. While we cannot guarantee all of our judges will be vaccinated, they will all be masked, and if you have any issues please let me know and we will deal with them swiftly, because my anxiety and everyone's safety is more important than their liberty.
